Metekhi is a historic neighbourhood of Tbilisi, Georgia, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari river.

ABANOTUBANI & SULFUR BATHS
Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulfuric baths that date back to the 5th century. This is the place, where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to the founding of Tbilisi.

ROPEWAY TO NARIKALA FORTRESS
Narikala is an ancient (6th century) fortress overlooking the Tbilisi old town and Mtkvari river.

SAMEBA HOLY TRINITY
The Holy Trinity Cathedral, commonly known as ‘Sameba’ has been serving as the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church ever since its completion in 2004.

LEGVTAKHEVI WATERFALL
Tucked away just behind the famous Sulfur Bats, Legvtakhevi and it’s waterfall offers a picturesque chunk of nature right in the middle of the city.

SHARDENI & EREKLE II STREETS
The busy Shardeni street, named after the French jeweller Jean Chardin, runs through the historic heart of Tbilisi. It used to be the commercial hub of the city and to this day remains the centre of its cultural and social life.

SIONI CATHEDRAL
The Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

PEACE BRIDGE
The Bridge of peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge that connects the two banks of river Mtkvari. Made predominantly out of steel and glass and illuminated with numerous LEDs it’s one of the most visited contemporary structures in Tbilisi.

THE HOLY CITY OF MTSKHETA
Mtskheta is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia. The "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. It’s home to the most famous church in Georgia - Svetitskhoveli.

JVARI MONASTERY
Jvari Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery overlooking Mtskheta and the junction of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

JOSEPH STALIN MUSEUM IN GORI
The Joseph Stalin Museum offers an intimate look into the leader’s life, who was born in Gori. The museum follow Stalin’s journey from the Gori church school to leadership of the USSR, the Yalta Conference at the end of WWII and his death in 1953. The famous bulletproof train carriage he used for his travels is also open for visitors.

UPLISTSIKHE
At the age of 3000 years, the rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe still maintains an impressive string of admirers. Containing various structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, it shows a unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran, as well as the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture.

GOMBORI PASS
The Tsiv-Gombori is a mountain range in the Georgian part of the Greater Caucasus mountains. It’s famous for its remarkable beauty, especially during the fall when the tree leaves turn into so many vivid yellows and reds.

ALAVERDI MONASTERY
Alaverdi Monastery is one of the most important religious monuments of the medieval era in Georgia. It was built at the beginning of the 11th century and was the tallest church in the country up until 2004 when the Sameba Cathedral was completed in Tbilisi.
Apart from being one of the most important religious landmarks in Georgia, situated in the heart of the world's oldest wine region, Alaverdi is also famous for its cellar. The monks have been making wine here for centuries.

TELAVI
Telavi is the main city in the province of Kakheti and one of the main players on the local wine scene. In addition to its century-long winemaking tradition, the city is famously the cultural hub of the region hosting many interesting events throughout the year including the famous Telavi International Music Festival.

Tsinandali is a village in Kakheti, Georgia, noted for the estate and its historic winery which once belonged to the 19th-century aristocratic poet Alexander Chavchavadze (1786–1846).

BODBE MONASTERY
The St. George's Monastery of St. Nino, sometimes also called the Bodbe Monastery, is one of the most important religious sites in Georgia. It houses the remains of St. Nino, the most central figure in Georgia’s conversion to Christianity, who devoted her life to healing people and preaching Christianity throughout the country.

SIGHNAGHI
Sighnaghi, also known as the city of love, is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti. Settled since the Paleolithic period, nowadays it has become a popular weekend getaway for many Georgians and a beloved destination for tourists. The narrow cobbled streets and the characteristically Georgian houses with their wooden balconies and vivid facades look like something out of a fairytale. No surprise Sighnaghi has become one of the top locations for destination weddings.

We’ll stop at one of the local cellars to try various wines from the grape rich Kakheti region.
