Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

Pickup & departure to Mukhuri at 4 AM.

Tour Guide Georgia will organize airport pickup. After check-in, you’ll have some time to relax at the hotel. At 15:00 we’ll start Tbilisi City Tour. Our first stop will be the National Museum where we’ll learn more about Georgia’s rich history and have a closer look at some very impressive artifacts that tell us the transformations people in the region went through throughout centuries.
Next, we’ll explore Old Tbilisi with its charming mixture of old and new. We’ll ride the cable car to Narikala fortress, the city’s main defender since 4th century and enjoy the lookout over Mtkvari and Maidan. We’ll explore the city’s most prominent churches including Sioni, Metekhi and the impressive Sameba Cathedral, the biggest religious building in all of Georgia. We’ll stop at the famous sulfur baths to admire its colorful facade. From there we’ll retreat to Legvtakhevi canyon, a piece of wild nature right in the heart of Tbilisi. Here we’ll relax at the waterfall and you’ll have some free time to take beautiful photos on the Bridge of Love. The activities for the day will end early in the evening, leaving you with some free time to explore the surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

DAY 2: Tbilisi – Gudauri

After a filling breakfast at the hotel, we’ll drive to Mtskheta, the birthplace of Christianity and one of the three UNESCO heritage sites in Georgia. Here we’ll explore Svetitskhoveli cathedral, the first Christian church on the territory of Georgia and the surrounding town with its picturesque Georgian architecture. We’ll drive all the way to the top of Jvari mountain to take a closer look at the 6th-century monastery and enjoy the stunning views of Mtkvari and Aragvi river junction below.
Our next stop will be Ananuri, the 13th-century fortress overlooking the Aragvi river.
From there we’ll drive to Gudauri, a mountain resort located on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range at a height of 2000 meters above the sea level. We’ll visit the Friendship monument nearby to enjoy the beautiful lookout at the highland scenery and spend the night in Gudauri.

DAY 3: Free Day in Gudauri

Spend a whole day exploring Gudauri. This wonderful ski resort has a total of 12 trails and pistes that range from short slalom tracks to 7 km long ski runs. The highest trail point is Mount Sadzele well above 3000 meters.
In addition to a wide range of trails, Gudauri also offers various restaurants, nightclubs, indoor swimming pools, tennis courts, and bowling facilities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gudauri.

DAY 4: Gudauri – Borjomi – Bakuriani

After breakfast, we’ll leave Gudauri and drive to Bakuriani. On our way, we’ll make a stop in Borjomi, a town most famous for its mineral water springs. Here we’ll hike through the beautiful park and have a picnic surrounded by stunning winter forests of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Alternatively, we can stay in Borjomi town, explore local areas and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Bakuriani, where we’ll spend the night at a hotel.

DAY 5: Free day in Bakuriani

Located at 1700 meters above the sea level, Bakuriani is home dozens of alpine slopes and cross-country trails. This popular winter resort offers some of the most spectacular skiing and snowboarding opportunities in Europe. Spend a whole day exploring Bakuriani & discover its wide range of skiing trails. DAY 6: Bakuriani

Spend one more day in Bakuriani. Skiing, snowboarding, ice skate, explore the resort on snowmobiles and horse-ridden sledges or simply take walks through the breathtaking nature admiring the snow-covered spruce forests. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bakuriani.

DAY 7: Bakuriani – Tbilisi

We’ll leave Bakuriani after breakfast and arrive in Tbilisi in the afternoon. After check-in at the hotel, you’ll have the evening free to explore the capital city. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi.
