DAY 1 - WELCOME DAY IN TBILISI ★★★★★

Meeting at Tbilisi Airport. Accommodation in a hotel.
The first day of your Georgia and Armenia tour begins with a Tbilisi sightseeing tour. You will visit all the famous sites of the capital, starting with Rustaveli Avenue, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Metekhi church, and a monument of the legendary King Vakhtang Gorgasali, founder of Tbilisi.
A cable car will then take you to Narikala Fortress overlooking the historical old town.
Once you have enjoyed the panoramic views of the night city, you will walk to the Tbilisi Mosque and then all the way down to the famous Sulphur Baths.
You will then explore the beautiful neighborhood around Sharden, with old and cozy streets, colorful cafés, bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
Last but not least, you will visit Zion Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica (VI century) with its beautiful surrounding neighborhood. Then we will cross the peace bridge leading to the cobblestone park and go to the open-air ethnography, to the miniature model of Georgia. In the evening, have dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant.

DAY 2 - MTSKHETA - SHOPPING

After breakfast, we will leave for the city of Mtskheta near Tbilisi. This is one of the oldest cities, the former capital of Georgia, and the cultural and religious center. Mtskheta was the capital of the Iberian Kingdom of Eastern Georgia. We will visit the Monastery of the Cross, an architectural masterpiece of the early Middle Ages, which overlooks the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from the hill. This area is under UNESCO protection. You will also visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the souvenir square.
In Mtskheta, you can taste the most delicious and world-famous Georgian dish “Khinkali”. This dish is very pleasant for everyone, including vegetarians, because it can be prepared from meat, potatoes, mushrooms, and even cheese.
After visiting the historical places, before returning to Tbilisi, we will visit the big shopping center “Tbilisi Mall” where are all shops, catering establishments, and children’s entertainment center. Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.

DAY 3 - ANANURI - GUDAURI

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the mountainous region of Kazbegi.
First, drive to Ananuri castle a famous architectural complex of the late feudal times of Georgia. Built in the 17th century on the right bank of the Aragvi river, it was the main residence of Aragvi Eristavi (one of the oldest dukes dynasty). 74 km (about 1h) of beautiful driving from Tbilisi along the Zhinvali water reservoir formed by the blue mountain river of Aragvi. The well-preserved castle, the beautiful bell tower, three churches, and craftily carved walls make this site an outstanding attraction for tourists.
We will continue driving on the Georgian military highway through its highest point at 2394 m above sea level. Arriving in Gudauri. Viewing the monument of friendship, accommodation in the hotel. Night in Gudauri.

DAY 4 - BORJOMI - BAKURIANI

After breakfast, we leave the Caucasus Mountains and go to Borjomi. Here you will walk in the nature reserve. If you like extreme, you can go on quad bikes in the forest-park, climb the waterfall and have a picnic by the lake. After leaving for lunch, we will go to Bakuriani. This is a resort area and in winter you can enjoy snow attractions: skiing, ferry boating and horse riding. Accommodation in a hotel. Night in Bakuriani.

DAY 5 - HAGPAT - LAKE SEVAN - SEVANAVANK

At 09:00, our driver will meet you at your hotel in Tbilisi and will drive you to the Georgia-Armenia border point “Saddhulu-Bagratasheni”. Cross the border, and from here you will begin your journey to the land of ancient traditions and ancient temples – Armenia.
Travel to the Lori region and visit the marvelous example of traditional architecture, the first one of Armenia’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Hagpati Monastery. Built between the 10th and 13th centuries, Hagpat proudly overlooks the Debed river from the hill. The location of the monastery was carefully chosen to protect the peace and solitude of its monks.
The next will be Lake Seven, the famous jewel of Armenia, where you will drive through Dilijan. This stunning water reservoir is one of the largest among high-altitude freshwater lakes.
Surrounded by dense forests alternating with steep cliffs the coastline of Lake Sevan will enchant you with the abundance of pristine mountain steppes and alpine meadows.
Stop by Sevanavank to see the remains of the religious site. Surb Karapet and Surb Arakelot, two churches stand among many khachkars (carved cross-stones) marking the location of a vanished monastery. Its gloomy name – “black monastery” most likely comes from the black tuff used for the construction.
The scenery here is simply spectacular: the lake surrounded by mountains, the snow-capped peaks that can be seen in almost every direction up until the horizon.

DAY 6 - SIGHTSEEING IN YEREVAN

After breakfast at the hotel, you will get to know what this ancient city – Erevan is known for, which is also called the “Pink City”. It invites visitors with its modest and at the same time magnificent landscapes. Start your city tour with a visit to the 572-step Cascade Monument, the city’s main symbol. This tremendous 50 meters wide staircase goes 500 meters high. The breathtaking panoramic view of the monument overlooks Mount Ararat, Swan Lake, Opera House, Republic Square, and Abovian Avenue, which you will also have a chance to walk along during the tour.
On weekends you can also visit Vernissage, the largest souvenir market in Armenia. In the evening enjoy dinner and a traditional folklore show. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 - GARNI – GEGARD – EJMIADZIN

After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave Yerevan for Garni, one of the most renown villages of Armenia, priding its fortress. The next stop is the monastery complex Geghard (meaning spear in Armenian). The beautiful landscape of Geghard is surrounded by high rocks. Decorative rock-cut art reflects the medieval development of the region. As a sacred spring in a cave, the complex was built as early as in the 4th century. We continue our journey to the Holy See of Armenia – Ejmiadzin – which is the residence of the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, an all-Armenian Catholic. Departure to Yerevan. If you wish, we have the opportunity to visit the brandy factory, where we will taste the brandy produced there, after which we will return to the hotel.
