This three-day tour will take you through the colourful history of the region by showing you some of the most essential places to visit in Georgia.We’ll start by driving towards South Caucasus taking in the innate beauty of Georgian landscape. In Gori, we’ll uncover childhood secrets of one of the two most influential men of the 20th century – Joseph Stalin who grew up in this small town in Kartli. We’ll also visit the famous recreational resort Borjomi, a favourite summer gateway of the Romanov family. In Akhaltsikhe, we’ll admire the Rabati fortress, the medieval beauty that stood as a protector over the Potskhovi river. Through the years and the struggles, the Rabati Fortress has kept elements from every century and culture making it one of the most diverse and interesting places to visit in Georgia. Another must-see destination for any visitor is Vardzia, a 12th-century town, completely hollowed from the rocky mountains.
