Travel through history all the way to the start of human life in Europe.
Our one day adventure will commence in Bolnisi, Kvemo Kartli. Here we’ll have a chance to visit one of the most noteworthy churches in the region – Bolnisi Cathedral. This 4th-century rock structure is the oldest surviving church in Georgia.
Our next stop, Tsughrughasheni monastery is just as monumental despite its petite size. Standing proudly on the right bank of the Bolnisistskhali river its ornament-rich walls tell the story of centuries-long glory.
Dmanisi archaeological site is perhaps the most famous tourist attraction in Georgia. Settled since the Early Bronze Age, it’s here that archaeologists stumbled upon the remains of the oldest humans in Europe, or as we Georgians affectionately call them – Zezva and Mzia.
