Metekhi is a historic neighbourhood of Tbilisi, Georgia, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari river.

Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulfuric baths that date back to the 5th century. This is the place, where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to the founding of Tbilisi.

Narikala is an ancient (6th century) fortress overlooking the Tbilisi old town and Mtkvari river.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral, commonly known as ‘Sameba’ has been serving as the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church ever since its completion in 2004.

Tucked away just behind the famous Sulfur Bats, Legvtakhevi and it’s waterfall offers a picturesque chunk of nature right in the middle of the city.

The busy Shardeni street, named after the French jeweller Jean Chardin, runs through the historic heart of Tbilisi. It used to be the commercial hub of the city and to this day remains the centre of its cultural and social life.

The Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

The Bridge of peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge that connects the two banks of river Mtkvari. Made predominantly out of steel and glass and illuminated with numerous leds it’s one of the most visited contemporary structures in Tbilisi.

Mtskheta is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia. The "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. It’s home to the most famous church in Georgia - Svetitskhoveli.

Jvari Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery overlooking Mtskheta and the junction of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

The Joseph Stalin Museum offers an intimate look into the leader’s life, who was born in Gori.

Built in the 1st century BC, the rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe still maintains an impressive amount of admirers.

Also called the Great Synagogue, it is one of three synagogues in Kutaisi.
It was built in 1885 and is the second largest synagogue in Georgia, right after the great synagogue in Tbilisi. Nowadays it serves a small, local Jewish community.

Sataplia, Georgian for ‘place of honey’, is a protected area and tourist attraction in Akhmeta Municipality In Imereti region of Georgia. It’s named after the local tradition of collecting honey from the bees that inhabit the mountain’s southern slope. Here you can see footprints of dinosaurs, cave and ancient plants together.


Prometheus Cave is the largest cave in Georgia and a favourite tourist destination. The total length of the cave is about 11 km, of which 1060 meters are open to visitors. It’s surrounded by a 3km long specifically designed landscape area making the cave structure easier to navigate and explore.

Khertvisi fortress is one of the oldest and surviving fortresses in Georgia that date to the feudal period. The church was built in 985. The present walls are from 1354.
